What is the AI Compass?
The AI Compass of the Bavarian AI Agency supports companies and organizations in preparing for the introduction of Artificial Intelligence in a structured way. It highlights the strategic, technical, organizational, and legal questions that should be taken into account.
Who is the AI Compass aimed at?
The AI Compass is particularly aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), but can also be used by larger companies, public institutions, associations, or start-ups.
Does my company have to already use AI to be able to use the AI Compass?
No. The AI Compass is explicitly intended for companies that want to orient themselves and have not yet implemented any specific AI projects.
Are there funding opportunities for AI projects?
Yes. There are various funding programs at the state, federal, and EU levels. These support, for example, consulting, research, development, or the introduction of new technologies.
How can a company start with AI without taking great risks?
Small, clearly defined pilot projects with specific benefits are recommended. This allows experiences to be gathered and potentials to be assessed before larger investments are made.
